Why I am running
I believe in helping people. I believe in building an inclusive, fair, and sustainable future for families in Etobicoke—Lakeshore and across Ontario.
I have worked in healthcare for nearly three decades. My experience on both a personal and professional level has shown me that strong, progressive policy, services, and programs help people thrive.
But for too long now, the programs and services people rely on are getting weaker. And when people turn to these services in need and realize how dire the situation has become, they always ask: How did this happen?
Put simply: These systems have been systemically underfunded, overwhelmed, and forgotten, the money going everywhere else instead of where you need it.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
It is time to act. That is why I am running to be the Ontario Liberal MPP in Etobicoke—Lakeshore.
I see the opportunity for a government with vision to take the lead. To generate smart, effective solutions. To provide world class care. To deliver an exceptional education to our children. To aid our aging parents as they navigate new challenges that require help.
The solutions are complicated, but they aren’t insurmountable. All it will take is the will to act, to stand up for what we know is right: for each other, and for our future. We must fight for a better tomorrow, every day.
Ontario needs a government that is up to the task.
Our challenges have never been clearer. It is time for governments to think more broadly, rigorously, and creatively and build a vision that supports Ontarians, right now and for future generations.
The leader that can build this vision is Bonnie Crombie. The team that can build those solutions is the Ontario Liberal Party. I want to be part of that team as the MPP for Etobicoke—Lakeshore.
We can and must do better. And we will succeed if we do it together.
